High Commissioner Pillay vs. anti-Durban “Lobby”

Apparently, the U.S., France, the Netherlands, the UK, etc., are just a “lobby.” So says UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, who, addressing the UN Human Rights Council, blasts Durban critics as conducting “a disparaging media and lobbying campaign”  on behalf of “narrow, parochial interests.” (Full speech here.)

Hmmm. AJC responds: “Perhaps she’d like to specify just what kind of ‘lobby’ she means.”
